In our humble here in Karama, we gather and prepare in welcoming 2009 with cheers& glee.


Eventhough were apart from our family we never forget our homegrown ‘’ media noche pinoy traditions’’.


Like for example, we prepare a tray full of different sweet fruits with all round shapes, that represents all year will be as sweets as the fruits, rice cake that we believe that having this can our family intact all year round. And also never forget to make our pockets full and never let our wallet empty..

Tik, Tak,Tik, tak,where all waiting for the clock to strikes 12 :00.

Countdown.. .3,2,1, The moment has come, we welcome the new year with a bang by popping out some balloons,and greeted every body with a smile and greeted each other happy new year.

Despite the fact restrictions all over dubai where as like silent new year because , no live music,no fireworks, no drinking (in hotels &bars)allowed, to show symphaty to our brothers in palestine;

Hence, did not stop our excitement and our own little way of welcoming the new year with gladness ,high hopes and cheers.
